As a convenience on the Intracoastal side, a boat ramp and docking facilities are available allowing access to the Bays and Gulf. The 620 feet of dockage becomes a scenic boardwalk that meanders through the mangroves.
Amenities: rest rooms, showers, parking, handicap parking, boat ramps (2), the Joseph Daniel Anderson Picnic Shelter with picnic tables and barbeque pits is a great place for wedding receptions and parties (seats more than 100 to reserve call 941-861-1602), several small shelters with picnic tables and barbeque pits, dune walkovers, swimming, volleyball courts. For your safety, Lifeguards are on duty year round.

A beach wheelchair is available at the lifeguard station.
